The Edge is one of London’s most iconic gay venues. Towering over Soho Square, she’s had more facelifts than Joan Rivers and has never looked as chic as she does now. She may be celebrating her 22nd anniversary this week, but she’s certainly looking her best ever! QX takes a look back at the venue’s more humble incarnations from the past and its glitzy, ritzy present…

• The Birthday Weekend starts Friday 28th February with DJs Chris Brogan and Jonathan Bestley and continues on Saturday 1st March with DJs Aamyko and Brent Nicholls. Open ‘til 3am.
