It’s time to head to Mango Tree, for their annual extravaganza of beautiful ladies, elaborate costumes, delicious Thai food, talent, themed cocktails, entertainment, dancing and more!

With a masquerade theme, contestants will dress up and display their beautiful costumes, hair and makeup. Contestants strut their stuff in two rounds before a panel of celebrity judges. The ladyboy entrants will fight it out for the coveted Miss Mango Tree 2015 crown, as well cash prizes and trophies!

Which of the fierce and fabulous contests will snatch this year’s crown with their elegance, beauty and hidden talents? It’s a mystery until the big night! We spoke to last year’s winner, the goddess that is Venus Brum, about being Miss Mango Tree.

 


How does it feel having the title of Miss Mango Tree?

Oh it feels Epic, amazing, fabulous and proud being crown as Ms Mango Tree, because it is one of the most prestigious transgender beauty contest in England. All the previous winners are undoubtedly gorgeous, being one of them is such an honour.

What’s your crown like?

My crown looks like a crown on the head, ha! It’s made of silver with diamond beads that complete it’s elegance and I love it.

What’s your signature look?

Something sexy, but classy

Which household object would make the best fashion accessory? (e.g. a dust ruffle as a mini skirt)

Rubber gloves for pony tail. Hehe

Do you have any hidden talents?

Yes, I can control my breath under water for 2 minutes.

Have you ever seen a real mango tree?

Yes, in fact we have a massive Mango Tree on our backyard back in the Philippines.

Oh, I love Thai curry, especially seafood.
