Hi Steven, Fire is synonymous with daytime parties, having been the home of Later for many years. Why is BOOM! different?
We wanted to create something new & fresh. Later was always the next place to go if you didn’t want the night to end and have a good time! With Later gone, that slot was the perfect opportunity to come up with a cool, new concept: BOOM! London’s best Sunday daytime House party! With 100% positive feedback that we had at the fantastic launch last Sunday we’re now confident and ready to bring you something fresh and different on Sundays!
If a music track, could sum up BOOM! what would it be and why?
“GOOD TIMES” and I mean any good version of that old classic. We want people to have a great time and the music is a big part of it. BOOM! is upbeat, pumping house with a touch of uplifting, vocal deep house thrown in, just 100% fresh house music!
Why would people not go out on a Saturday and come to BOOM! instead?
For some time now things have changed so quickly in London’s clubland. We are still the best city in the world for clubs and parties but things have changed a lot in the past 10 years since I started DJing. As a promoter, I know that you gotta have a strong brand, a great team, the right music policy at the right time! BOOM! has all this and more, plus with our cool retro-style decoration in the newly refurbished Mirror Arch, why not have a amazing time in the day? You don’t have to go out on a Saturday night if you know there is a place where you can party and have the best time without losing a night’s sleep! Of course if you are already out and want to party some more, then BOOM! is the only place to be seen!
What’s the most embarrassing thing you’ve witnessed in a night club?
Well, let’s just say sometimes Halloween comes early!
