Orange Nation have loads of SPOOKY STUFF planned for Halloween
The only thing scarier than Halloween is a Halloween weekender without anywhere to head and get your ghoul on. Since it’s basically the official colour of the night of all hallows eve (pumpkins and all that), Orange Nation have been toiling at the cauldron to turn out a packed weekend of dark delights to keep you monster-mashing your way into Monday morning. Ditch that resting witch face, it’s time to party!
A:M The Purge
Friday 26th October, 11pm – 10am
Starting off the festivities is one killer night not to be missed. One night where all naughtiness is legal… well, not really but who knows what could unfold under the dark arches of Protocol. They’ve got all the haunted House you can handle, served to you by Sordid Soundz, Arnaldo Novias. They’re also entering some sci-fi horror with terrifying Techno by Danny Phillips and Tony Bruno.
Protocol at Fire, 6 South Lambeth Place, SW8 1SP. Free before 1am, £5 before 3am, £8 before 6am with concession/flyer/NUS, £15 OTD.
Beyond – Hellraiser
Saturday Night/ Sunday Morning, 27/28th October, 4am – midday
Beyond has your late late Saturday night covered, and you best believe it’s getting spooky. Ever catch your own reflection when you’re still partying at 10am? Terrifying! DJ’s Nik Denton, Neil Singleton and Zach Burns will keep you in the party mood though, they always creep it real. They’ll be raising hell like, well, Hellraiser? He was the guy with nails in his head right? To keep in-theme you be sure to get good and hammered. Who knows, you could end the night getting nailed after all…
Fire, South Lambeth Road, SW8 1RT. £5 NUS/Industry, £13 concession/flyer before 7am, £16 OTD.
WE – Day of the Dead
Sunday 28th October, 7pm – 3am
WE Parties are infamous across god’s gay earth for throwing the absolute wildest nights in the gay calendar. This year they’ve gone all dias de los muertos on us, so expect some face painted skulls and saint candle-style Speedos. The parties are always jam packed with the fittest guys this side of the channel. They’ve clearly been exorcising… Spinning those decks are Rafha Madrid, Steve Pitron and Michel Mizrahi who’ll be working those gym bunnies up into a frenzy. The skimpy costumes will be parading the dance floor of Ministry. I mean, if you’ve got it, haunt it.
Ministry of Sound, 103 Gaunt Street, SE1 6DP. Advanced tickets available at OrangeNation.co.uk.
The Orange Funky House of Horrors
Sunday 28th of October, Midnight – 6am
It’s the official WE after party, where the muscle gays will be hopping out of their Ubers and jumping under those Vauxhall arches. Keeping the masses entertained will be some scary films, fancy dress and bobbing for apples. How are you with that mouth? Emma J White and Summer Ghemati will be in charge of keeping you two-stepping until it’s time to head to the office on Monday.
Lightbox, South Lambeth Road, SW8 1RT. Industry free before 4am, £8 before 4am with conession/flyer/NUS, £13 OTD.
Hocus Pocus
Tuesday 30th October
Teaming up with Vauxhall One, there’s be a screening of Bette Midler’s high-camp classic Hocus Pocus on their huge LED screen. Expect cocktails, meal deals and a place to really kick back with your gays.
