“Babylon” in Queer As Folk was the site of many trysts, tiffs and tears over the course of the show – a euphoric but rough and ready Manchester gay club, with a lust for life and a flexible spine!

The setting it was based on is a real nightclub, Cruz 101. Writer Russell T Davies met his partner there and used it as inspiration for Babylon.

Now, in celebration of 20 years since the iconic TV show aired, Cruz 101 is reopening its doors as BABYLON!

This weekend it will fully transform, complete with original signage and a playlist of 90s and 00s club bangers.

Hit attending here.
