There’s loads of lolz stuff on the internet these days, but sometimes there’s nothing better than good old SNL! Saturday Night Live’s sketch series can be a bit naff and American sometimes, but other times they get it SO RIGHT.
Like the unforgettable “Super Showcase” with Maya Rudolph and Kristen Wiig, that gays have been quoting at each other at East London pre-drinks since 2013. (“You’ll be the talk of baggage claim!”)
They’ve churned out another corker this week with “The Actress” in which Emma Stone plays an earnest, thoughtful actress trying to connect with her character on a metaphysical level. All pretty par for the course indie movie stuff, but with one twist – the part is in a gay porn movie, as a woman who walks in on her husband cheating on her with her god son.
Come on now, we’ve all watched one of THOSE kind of movies at one point or another. Myhotstepson dot com, or something to that effect. It’s also a slight homage to the now infamous “In front of my salad!” meme.
We love that gay porn tropes have started to filter into mainstream primetime television. MORE PLEASE!
