One of London’s favourite party brands get Carrie’d away with Halloween

Get CARRIED away (get it?) at Circa’s NIGHTMARE PROM, their blood-spattered, punch-spillingly petrifying Halloween bash.

They’re pulling out all the spooky stops, with three nights of frightening fun across their two venues, all in honour of Gay Christmas, otherwise known as HALLOWEEN!

Why DO gays love Halloween so much? Perhaps something about hiding behind a costume resonates with us – many of us had devensive “costumes” of our own to get through hostile environments, like secondary school or our local high streets. If you’re straight and reading this, have a little think about that when you’re donning your “dead schoolgirl” outfit.

Circa are riffing on the secondary school with a prom theme, paying homage to the hundreds of high school slasher movies we know and love (remember Jennifer’s Body?! Iconic!)

The vibe is blood-spattered prom queens, jittery jocks and trembly teachers. On actual Halloween, Thursday 31st, Circa The Club will be hosting a screening of Drag Race UK, followed by Disney Halloween night!

Then on Friday November 1st it’s a special Halloween edition of monthly night Playground, with DJs Matt Bogard, Bekefi and Chester Hayes, hosted by Chrissy Darling.

Another Halloween special follows on Saturday November 2nd – POWER HOUSE is Circa The Club’s euphoric house night, this week with resident DJs Christopher Brown and James Lee Dawkins.

Plus Circa Soho will be celebrating across all three days, open until 1am each night with DJs Sam Londt, Jonathan Bestley, James Lee Dawkins, Addison, Suki Rae, James John and Adam Turner.

Circa Soho is at 62 Frith Street, Soho, W1D 3JN.

Circa The Club is at Hungerford House, Victoria Embankment, WC2N 6NS.
