West London Queer Project started March with an inflation busting discount card that gets you a very attractive discount of 20% on all food and drink at their home at George IV pub in Chiswick, 7 days a week. Check out WLQP to find out more.
The first event in March was Ginger’s Big Drag Bingo Extravaganza, and what fun it was! It was big bingo with big prizes and big fun! Winners won a gorgeous brunch for two at Rhythm and Brews, an exclusive beauty hamper from Elemental Herbology and £100 cash prize. Several punters also took time out to enjoy a lovely Sunday roast before the show. The Sunday Socials at the George IV are vary popular. There’s more coming up, including a walk, cabaret show and cinema sing-along.
This was followed by a leisurely walk along the Thames from Ke Bridge to Richmond on Saturday 12 March.
WLQP was set up to give the LGBTQ+ community of West London a safe space to socialise and be entertained.

WLQP The Rocky Horror Show Sing-Along on Friday 25 March

Announcing their first ever sing-along at the Chiswick Cinema and they’re kicking off with the film that over 600 of you voted for. The Rocky Horror Picture Show! On the night, WLQP will have full access to the private member’s bar before and after the film, prizes for the best dressed and to make the night even more exciting, it will be hosted by the hilarious and gorgeous @cjhopkins

And just incase you don’t know the story line: In this cult classic, sweethearts Brad (Barry Bostwick) and Janet (Susan Sarandon), stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter (Tim Curry), a transvestite scientist. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker (Meat Loaf) and a creepy butler (Richard O’Brien). Through elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: a muscular man named “Rocky.”
