Join Vito Project LGBT Film Club for a homage to the life and work of the legendary gay songwriter Howard Ashman. Discover the art of traditional hand-drawn animation with the two most significant movies that launched the Disney Renaissance of the 1990s and ushered in a new age of animation. Ashman brought sophistication and a queer sensibility to these classics. He took inspiration from musical theatre and the eccentric personality of drag queen legend Divine. Disney granted Vito Projecto special permission to screen The Little Mermaid.
A ticket for the event costs only £12! All money made at the box office goes towards paying for film rights and supporting The Cinema Museum. Since all previous screenings have sold out, advanced booking is advisable.
