Bubala have created a fabulous Middle Eastern-inspired menu consisting of a welcome cocktail and canapés on the terrace for when you arrive, followed by a delicious three course feast that’s shared and served family style on tables of eight in a delightful banqueting room overlooking the canal.
Bubala means ‘darling’ in Yiddish and the restuarant takes inspiration from across the Middle East with bold and complex flavours with texture. They shun synthetic and processed food, chapioning only the best vegetables that they can find.
Patron of The Food Chain, Jay Rayner, will host the evening. You can read his review of Bubala here “Exuberantly vegetarian.”
The Food Chain supports people living with HIV. Established on Christmas Day 1988, it provides a twice-weekly meal service from Stepney Green.
Tickets are very reasonably priced at £70 per person.
Demand will be high, so book early.
Reservations – min 2 on a shared table of 8, max 8 for the whole table.
