Directed by founder and artistic director Charles Quittner, Body Stocking Legion performs from Saturday 12 – Tuesday 15 and Friday 18 – Sunday 20 April, and is the revolutionary incitement we’ve all been waiting for.

Body Stocking Legioninvites audiences to step into a post-apocalyptic world where everything once considered normal has been driven into hiding. Fishnets, panties, and linens as the unexpected materials of this new world. Audiences are welcomed into Body Stocking Legion HQ, represented by the beloved Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club, where a lively band of revolutionaries enact the events of the lingerie uprising. The world outside is not what you remember. Will you join the rebellion?
Body Stocking Legion features original songs composed by Robyn Herfellow, performed live by an electric lineup of queer musician-performers, including Vyvyan Wyld, Meg Narongchai, and Shakira Stellar. The performance takes the audience on a journey from keytar mayhem to a drag-based retelling of revolutionary history, with a few unexpected orgies along the way, culminating in a thrilling, fishnet-clad finale.

The club is the spiritual home to East London Cabaret, and amid threats of its closing, there is no better time for it to become the hideout for the revolutionary Body Stocking Legion. Fear not, Séayoncé and I have not broken up, but I am overjoyed to be presenting a production of my own, adding fuel to the fire and turning the volume up on my songs of the lingerie uprising!“

Robyn Herfellow: Body Stocking Legion marks the first full theatrical run of 2025 at the Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club
The venue is currently campaigning to stay open amid threats of being sold to developers. The club has been designated as an asset of community value and has the planning protections of a Cabaret Theatre. The more vibrant theatre and cabaret events hosted at the club, the stronger the campaign to save it will become. Robyn Herfellow is best known for portraying Leslie Ann, the murderous accomplice to Séayoncé (Dan Wye). Body Stocking Legion is their first full-length solo work.
