From his 4 year residency on Rinse FM, shows on BBC’s 1Xtra and 3 years with Reprezent Radio, to remixing for A list artists such as Usher, Will I Am, Lilly Allen and Natty, NG has carved out a niche with his eclectic sets mixing between House, UK Funky, Amapiano, UK Garage and Disco. He has also recorded tracks such “Saving Grace” remade by “As I Am” for Defected and produced his last single “Sexy Body” with Nicola Tate.

NG is a favourite guest of Bootylicious and has held residencies at The Factory After Party in Vauxhall weekly from 2009 to 2020, Home LDN, Movimento at Club Aquarium, and also plays at the annual Garage Nation Festival alongside MC Versatile.
Check out DJ NG’s Bootylicious Easter Playlist and catch him on the decks alongside the new wave of talent headlining the House Room including DJ Emz and Kyma.
1. DJ NG feat Katy B & MC Versatile “Tell Me” (Data Records/Ministry of Sound)
I don’t feel that this deserves first-track space; it’s more of an opener to my Playlist.
2. The Vision feat Andreya Triana “Heaven” (Defected)
A few years old now, but it’s a feel-good selection for that love when the sun’s out!
3. Quentin Harris “My Joy” (BMG)
Something about the deepness of this track combined with soul makes it one of my Top 10 classic house tracks of all time.
4. Frankie Knuckles feat. Robert Owens & Satoshi Tomei – “Tears” (FFRR)
Sonically and musically unforgettable and another classic that I would often close with at The Factory After Party. I always created magic with this one.
5. Finis Henderson – “Skip To My Lou” (Motown Records)
Since I started Roller skating and DJing simultaneously (yes, at the same time!), this has been a memorable anthem. I love to play it on my controller when the sun is out, and I’m skating. It’s musically supreme and always puts you in a good mood!
6. Ledesi – DJ Pioneer x DJ Eastwood Mix of “Think Of You” (Eastwood)
Anthem from one of the London underground house/UK ama & afro scenes – from some pioneers of the UK undergound scene.
7. Shimza – “That Organ Track” (Kunye)
Loving Shimza’s work and this track has the oldskool essence but put into the new!
7. Jazztonik – “Samurai ” (Chez Records)
When I first heard this track it sounded like nothing I’d ever heard in a club before. It’s a pure genius of a track.
8. Hardrive – “Deep Inside” (Strictly Rhythm)
The true essence of deep and underground from Louie Vega’s production speaks for itself in this timeless classic.
9. Spencer Morales feat Randy Roberts “Without Your Love” DJ Spen & Thommy Davis Remix (Quantize Recordings)
Chosen this for Peggys crew and a kind of groove to expect at my set for Bootylicious.
10. Barbert “Time After Time” (Soulfuric Deep)
Never understand why this track doesn’t get more air/club play than it does but it’s such a feel good track for me.
