31/10/11: The best time of the year was here! And there is no one who does it better than promoter Chris Selby at one of the most popular nights in London.

Halloween was rocking down at Popcorn! Within an hour of opening, the nightclub was at capacity and we all knew then and there, this was going to be one hell of a night. And talking of hell, every horror character was lurking behind every corner busting those moves down in Heaven… and for one night only, Heaven was transformed into Hell, the dark death had taken over!

With three floors of music to cater for everyone’s taste, a Spanish influenced games room, a VIP area, a mixed hot crowd, balloon drops and live incredible shows there isn’t a night quite as exciting.

Our house DJs Jonesey, Alan K and all the way from Argentina the massive Aldo Haydar owned the main floor whilst Harvey Adam and Terry Lecointe spun some sick Pop and R’n’B tunes in the other rooms.

The highlight of the night was the show, based on a sick twist to the kids classic where Alice finds herself coming out of wonderland, going mad, being committed and killing everyone at the hospital… the show was sick and we LOVED it!

Speaking to the man behind the madness, Mr Selby, he said: “Tonight has gone really well, considering we were just rammed within an hour of opening and the show was a big excuse for some real gore!” He never fails to impress, does he? I’d love to know what goes on inside his mind! This was by far one of the BEST Halloween nights
