UPDATE 2nd July: Jeremy Joseph has announced that G-A-Y late will be open on Saturday 4th July. 6pm to late, seven days a week.

Jeremy Joseph, owner of the G-A-Y group of venues, including G-A-Y Bar in Old Compton Street, G-A-Y Late, G-A-Y Manchester and Heaven nightclub, has announced that G-A-Y Bar will definitely be open from Saturday 4th of July. Opening times for the venue will be 12pm to 12am, 7 days a week.

Saturday 4th July will be like Soho Pride as many bars are re-opening and much of central Soho around Old Compton Street will be pedestrianised.

Jeremy Joseph hoping to open the other venues also on the 4th, but has yet to confirm. Opening dates are subject to venues being ready and compliant with all government guidelines. If a venue isn’t ready then Jeremy says he’ll delay for your safety.

Interestingly, he’s billing Heaven as ´The UK´s biggest LGBT bar.´We haven’t got any more news yet on what his plans are for that venue, but we think that it would make a great telephone bar. Dring Dring, table 4 calling table 8!
