28/04/12: This weekend at Heaven was a double whammy of sorts, with both the Barbadian sweethearts, Cover Drive, and – in her first ever live solo performance – Camden-originated treasure, Tulisa Constavlos taking the stage last Saturday!

The performances kicked off with Cover Drive’s punchy, bad-gyal anthem ‘Lick You Down’ – with lead singer Amanda Reifer channeling that electric Caribbean edge in her casual lace black crop top and neon green jeans ensemble. Boys Jamar, Barry and T-Ray took the stage behind her – holding it down and rolling it back a little themselves behind their drums and guitars.

Number 1 track ‘Twilight’ was next, raising the roof and working the crowd to a hip-rotating frenzy as they sang along with Reifer’s honey-like riffs. Finally, and all too soon, the band finished up – with latest single ‘Sparks’.

The dulcet-toned, beat-driven pop ditty certainly seemed to find fans amongst the night’s attendees – who indulged the group with another excitable onslaught of cheers and two-stepping.

Next up, in her first performance since putting her one woman show on the road, was the undisputed Queen of Camden Council-Land – one raven haired third of English chart royalty – N-Dubz’ Tulisa.

Rocking up in a paneled UV minidress and high-top trainers, mane flowing free – Tulisa performed a high-powered medley of the band’s hits, just the woman and her mic, winning shouts of approval from the men stretching out before her.

Finally, it was time for the track we’d all been waiting for – the anthemic ode to young pleasure-seekers and their stupid mistakes (now, now – none of that boys), ‘Young’. The room erupted in a shower of confetti and balloons as the euphoric, dance extravaganza reached it’s welling crescendo; and the boys threw themselves from wall to wall miming word-for-word.

With that, the latest Diva in pop’s debut was cemented. Where better to begin it all than Heaven?
