07/04/12: We started Day 3 of our Easter Weekend G-A-Y marathon at G-A-Y Bar where we were the lucky recipients of a free chocolate egg! Ahh, the finest pleasures in life are the simplest. After swinging our handbags into G-A-Y Late to pick up the rest of our posse, it was off to G-A-Y’s main event at Heaven for us.
Now, some of you have probably woken-up palpitating from a dream in which lathered lads rolled and rollicked in their Calvin Kleins, while chart hits reverberated in the background… and some of you may have just lived the dream this Saturday gone!
The main floor at Heaven was transformed into a giant tub with space for enough soft froth and firm backsides to satisfy even the most voracious reveler, in the year’s first Foam Party at the super-club. Cannons shot a steady load over a sea of gleeful faces and thoroughly soaked frames, while the boys tackled each other to ground and eagerly grabbed at the beach balls batting about between the walls.
Those who didn’t fling themselves in headfirst, waited until they were suitably hot under the collar watching it all from the sidelines – before wading in with the excuse of needing a ‘cool down’.
Elsewhere, in the Star Bar, Pop Room and VIP area, the boys in attendance indulged a few rounds of a different sort of bubbly, and proceeded to back-it-up to a bass-line well into the morning hours. A cold shower was a definite requirement for those who made it home. Another monster weekend at G-A-Y!
