WOOP! WOOP!
Preview of Queer On The Pier previously published:
Queer on the Pier returns this 24th July for THE gay Hastings summer party of 2021.
Located in the UKs largest beer garden overlooking the south east coast and featuring several bars, offering great food and super talented entertainment, Queer On The Pier returns with a bigger stage, and more production as they transform Hastings pier into a queer haven of cabaret, music & dance for one day and one day only!
To bring us out of lockdown they have organised a hugely talented line up of performers and DJs for this event. They’ll also be showcasing some amazing local talent to entertain you for ten hours of seaside pleasure.
Hosts include the perpetually prodigious, Glory co-owner and purveyor of capes, John Sizzle. From the outset, The Glory dug its heels in as a “super-pub, nightspot and performance mecca” and BOY did it deliver.
Holestar is also hosting. A London drag legend, Holestar is a living, breathing, latex-clad trailblazer. Women doing drag is still a contentious issue for some. But it’s not a totally alien concept. Back when Holestar started out, it was unheard of.

LoUis CYfer, the cheeky chappy Drag King, is a winner of drag idol and short list nominee for QX Cabaret Awards.
Special guest is living legend Yvette the Conqueror.
Queer On The Pier will be presenting the stars from
Rupaul’s Drag Race UK
Baga Chipz
Baga Chipz (as Jason Reid says, That’s Chipz with a Z!) has been described by QX as being, ¨to elegance what Kim Kardashian is to quantum psychics and what she doesn’t know about battering a good old sausage isn’t worth knowing.¨ You can read Jason Reids interview with Baga here.
“One of London’s most promising young drag stars… London drag queen TAYCE is tantalising, talented and trending. An unignorable hurricane with eight inch heels and an eighteen inch weave, when she walks into a room, heads turn, sunglasses are lowered and phone cameras surreptitiously click.¨ – QX
In 2021 Tayce, another star of the Queer On The Pier stage, was a runner up in Season Two of Ru Paul’s Drag Race. We were so right and the rest will, no doubt, be history!
Add to the mix A’whora and Ellie Diamond and you have a fabulous roster of Drag Talent from Ru Paul’s Drag Race.
Queer On The Pier features the finest of UK cabaret talent
Mr Teds, Mrs Moore, Sandra, Snow White Trash, Dave the Bear and Sister Mary. What can we say about such iconic talent?
Mrs Moore has regularly featured between the covers of QX. Your more traditional drag star, Mrs Moore is a stalwart of the London Cabaret scene.
Sandra is a ¨drag artist who was taught by the great icons of the genre, with decades of performing under her tuck. Sandra is a mistress of her craft. Very few can work a room and read a crowd like the Whore of Hampstead Heath.¨ – QX
AND SOME OF THE BEST QUEER DJs
Throughout the day gay Hastings will be dancing to Tasty Tim, Lady Lloyd and Jeffrey Hinton. The iconic Princess Julia will also be joining you.
SHOWCASING LOCAL TALENT
Local superstars include Helen Sharpe, Lovinia Belle, Sky Lee Ryan, Paris Grande and DJs Lemur Beats and more!
